Rice Farms, LLC

Partnering with us:

We are always looking for new opportunities to partner with new landowners who are looking to lease their land so that we can further grow our farming operation to make room for and prepare for the future generations.  We feel that we can offer very competitive and creative lease arrangements to fit any type of landowner needs and wishes.  We are very flexible and accommodating and are happy to work out any type of lease arrangement that you may be interested in.  Please feel free to contact us at any time with any questions.

Rice Farms, LLC is blessed to have the privilege of working with 9 different landowners that we rent from.  We are very thankful that these landowners have chosen us to care for their farms.  We know that the land that grows our crops is the most important resource of our business and we do not take that for granted.  Our goal is to care for the land we rent as if it were our own.

Taking care of the land:

We know that taking care of the land for us and for future generations is an essential part of our business.  Keeping a sustainable business is very important to us and that all starts with taking care of the land in the most respectful and sustainable way that we can.  Here at Rice Farms, we use practices such as gps soil sampling on every acre that we farm , variable rate fertilizer applications to ensure nutrients are not wasted yet yields are maximized, land management software to track every input used on each and every acre, cover crops to help prevent soil erosion and nutrient leaching, filter strips to help with soil erosion and nutrient runoff into ditches and streams, no-till farming practices on some of our fragile soils that are prone to wind and water erosion, roadside mowing and ditch maintenance to keep the aesthetics and drainage of the farm in tip top shape, and many other practices that ensure that our farm and yours is well taken care of and here for many generations to come.  If we take care of the land, it will take care of us!
